From the very beginning, I was stunned by how wonderful this game is. Beautiful graphics, great video sequences, so much fun to play! The keyboard play can be a bit clunky but doesnt take away from playing. If you love LOTR, you will love playing this game. Its great being able to revisit this amazing world! Love the ability to wander around and just explore and do side challenges. Totally worth the price!

Great game. Beutiful graphics and a good range of puzzles. Plenty of replay value and fun for all ages. A few minor places where the game may frustrate some gamers dont detract. (one jumping puzzle in Mordor in particular - oh, diagonal???) Cant wait for The Hobbit with Legolas and his Lego Lass with the Lego… hey, I dont think she was in the book.

its a good game dont get me wrong but if ur a teenager and u attention span is less then a minutue then u prob wont like this game cuz it is really boring

Even though this game is a bit repetitive, it is still lots of fun. The storyline is amazing and I would definitely recommend this to any lord of the rings fan for an incredible journey. It varies just enougth from the movie to keep it intersting and funny. Just an increadible game.

This game is frustrating. There are serveral areas were the characters get trapped by a glitchy programming. If you are buying this for you kids to play, don’t, you will have to help them complete serveral levels! I have played several other Lego games and this my opinion is the worst. I expect better from Tt dames.

This is one of the best lego games Ive ever played. So far, It works flawlessly on mac.

The game follows the storyline fairly accurately, with some minor add-in tweeks made incorporated into the story by the LEGO team. I am amazed with the detail in this game, it is very beautiful and very exciting. If you are a fan of the LOTR trilogy, this game will be great to add to your collection. In the game you can explore whatever you like and even do side quests in my opinion this game is the best LOTR game out yet.

What an excellent game. Incredibly well done. They match the movie scene with incredible detail (although some scenes are skipped for obvious reasons.) The best LOTR game I have seen, and flawlessly done for the Mac.

The biggest problem with it is that its clearly designed to be used with a gamepad (as would be found on a console). There is no mouse support and using a keyboard with it very difficult, especially with the default mapping. This is especially egregious when you have to fire off arrows or throw objects because a crosshairs appears, but you cant use your mouse to direct it: you have to use WASD (or whatever youve remapped it to). If you have a gamepad to plug into your computer, youll enjoy LEGO Lord of the Rings immensely. If you dont, youll have to do some key remapping or get used to the sub-par keyboard scheme before you can fully enjoy the game. Its worth it though: this is the most enjoyable LEGO game Ive played since LEGO Star Wars. It captures the feel of Lord of the Rings while adapting it to the fun style of Lego Gameplay.

Incredible game! Uses all the original dialog from the films but with the Lego characters acting it out. Great fun and havent had a single bug!

This game is beautiful! I love the Lord of the Rings and this game makes me love it even more. If that is possible. The graphics are wonderful, gameplay is phenomenal, and the scenery is amazing! I play it with an Xbox 360 controller and it works great. This was $30 well spent. My advice. Buy it now.

and i even cant change the video resolution. i dont know why everytime i set 1440x900( yes this is the highest choice available) and choose accept, it doesnt save and back to 1024x800

Great game. Kids love it (they are huge LOTR fans). Only problem is one crash so far. Finished the long sequence from Osgiliath to Eisengard. Completed Eisengard, went to cut-scene, then crashed. Lost the progress, and had to re-start at Osgiliath again.

Works perfect on Macbook Pro 15" 2010. No configuration needed for my logitech gamepad. just works right out of the box. Great game.

it starts off fantastic but then for me my keyboard stops working. and its weird because my arrow keys work but nothing else. so then i have to restart my computer. the game looks cool though. and i wish my keyboard would work after 10 mins of playing

I really love that feral has produced so many games for the mac. That being said…. lego are some of the most fun to play with my kids and this is why I give I give it a 31/2. Reasons are simply because Its not to glitchy and it has the graphics and story to complete the game. However, it just doesnt have the fun factor and coolness of star wars, Batman 2 and Indiana Jones. In certain parts of free play I still wasnt able to switch to whomever I wanted and open territory with out fast travel can make the game drag a bit!
